A History of Ministry Through Past Events

Immanuel Lutheran’s past events include seasonal worship services for Advent and Christmas, Lenten midweek services, Holy Week services, Easter celebrations, Vacation Bible School, youth retreats, and congregational milestones like our 125th anniversary in 2022. Past events also include community service projects, Comfort Dog ministry visits, Martin Luther School programs, LCMS Youth Gatherings, and District Lutheran gatherings across Missouri.

Confirmation Parent Meeting — Grades 6 and Up

Youth Night

Wednesdays Are for Youth Youth Night is Immanuel’s Wednesday evening program for students in grades 5–12. Every week during the school year, middle and high school students gather at the Immanuel Youth Center — located just behind the church and school at 2616 S Connecticut Ave — for a free meal, organized activities, and time in God’s Word. He Is Risen! Join Immanuel Lutheran Church for Easter Sunday worship as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Easter services are held at 8:00 am and 10:30 am. Good Friday Prayer Vigil

On Good Friday, the church will be open for a Prayer Vigil from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Come and spend time in quiet prayer and reflection before the cross as we observe the hours of Christ’s suffering and death. All are welcome to come and go throughout the day.
