Immanuel Lutheran Church in Joplin, Missouri is a busy place, with ministries designed for every age and stage of life. All of our ministry areas are shaped by our mission to be Grounded in Christ, Guided by Grace, and Growing to Serve our congregation, our community, and the world.

Our school ministry is carried out through Martin Luther School (PreK–8th grade), providing a Christ-centered education rooted in Lutheran values in the heart of Joplin. Our Comfort Dog Ministry serves the hurting and grieving through our LCC K-9 Comfort Dog team, bringing mercy and compassion locally and across the nation.
Families with children will find a welcoming home in our Children and Families ministries, including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and family devotion resources. Youth in grades 5–11 participate in Youth Group, confirmation classes, service projects, and LCMS District and National Youth Gatherings. Adults of all ages connect through Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML), Men’s Ministry Bible Breakfast, Young Adults gatherings, Stewardship, and local and global Mission Work.
