A History of Ministry Through Past Events

Immanuel Lutheran’s past events include seasonal worship services for Advent and Christmas, Lenten midweek services, Holy Week services, Easter celebrations, Vacation Bible School, youth retreats, and congregational milestones like our 125th anniversary in 2022. Past events also include community service projects, Comfort Dog ministry visits, Martin Luther School programs, LCMS Youth Gatherings, and District Lutheran gatherings across Missouri.

Friday, October 9, 2026 at Martin Luther School, Immanuel’s school ministry. Lunch delivered anywhere in Joplin 11 AM–2 PM, walk-up carryout, and dinner with a silent auction 4:30–7 PM. $15 adults, $8 children. Proceeds help shade the MLS playground.
