Summer Update: Youth Night is a school-year program running September through May. During the summer, Immanuel Youth gather for ice cream outings and other seasonal activities. Regular Wednesday nights resume in September when school starts back. Watch for details through GLOO or the Sunday bulletin.
Wednesdays Are for Youth

Youth Night is Immanuel’s Wednesday evening program for students in grades 5–12. Every week during the school year, middle and high school students gather at the Immanuel Youth Center — located just behind the church and school at 2616 S Connecticut Ave — for a free meal, organized activities, and time in God’s Word. Food. Friends. Faith. All are welcome.
Wednesday Evening Schedule
- 5:00 PM — Confirmation Class begins for enrolled students (6th grade and up, led by Pastor Chris Ramstad)
- 5:45 PM — Doors open, free meal served, activities begin — all youth grades 5–12 welcome
- 8:00 PM — Activities conclude, head for home
The Youth Center features comfortable gathering spaces, a gym, ping pong, pool table, and more — designed as a place where young people genuinely want to be. Students from nearly a dozen area schools come through our doors each week.
Stay Connected With GLOO
GLOO is Immanuel Youth’s text messaging service — a safe, simple way to get updates about Youth Night, schedule changes, and weather cancellations. Text the word YOUTH to 833-225-2985 to sign up. You’ll hear from us once or twice a week.
Weather note: If Martin Luther School cancels for the day, Youth Night and Confirmation Class are also canceled that evening. When in doubt, check local TV stations or GLOO.
