Immanuel Lutheran Church welcomes Rev. Christopher Ramstad as our new Pastor! (Installation Service on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 4:00 pm — All are welcome!) Pastor Chris comes to us from Immanuel Lutheran Church in Columbus, Nebraska, where he has served as Associate Pastor for the past five years. Immanuel Lutheran Church and Martin Luther School thank God for our new school principal, Mrs. Mollie Ramstad. Finishing her School Administration Master’s Degree in May of 2024, Mrs. Ramstad has several years of experience as a teacher in a Lutheran School. Her Bachelor’s Degree is in Education and Music. Tyler Ulibarri serves as Congregation Vice-President at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He is a member of Immanuel, serving our church and school in a variety of ways with his family, and is honored to serve in this leadership role for the congregation.
Jason Glaskey
Jason Glaskey has been serving Immanuel as Minister to Youth & Families since 2008. Born and raised in the Southeast Missouri town of Ironton, he started his college career at Missouri Southern State College in Joplin, Missouri. Jason quickly found himself attending church at Immanuel-Joplin, then helping with Youth Ministry, Sunday School, and singing in the choir. Kimberly Johnson
Kimberly Johnson has been serving God in our church office since 1984! Originally from Lowell, Indiana, she has called Joplin and Immanuel Lutheran Church home for most of her life. Besides being responsible for all of Immanuel’s print publications and being the friendly voice you hear on the phone, Kimberly oversees much of the day-to-day operation of the church office. Christopher Killebrew
Christopher Killebrew is our Head Elder. Mr. Killebrew is a multi-generation member of Immanuel and a life-long area resident. Christopher and his wife Julie have two children, and have served Immanuel together in a variety of ways over the years. When he’s not working hard at Jayhawk Fine Chemicals Corporation, Christopher is an avid reader and book collector, loves studying Scripture, and enjoys playing disk golf with family and yelling loud for the Kansas City Chiefs football team.
