Schifferdecker Swim And Watermelon Feed
Friday Evening, August 9 at Schifferdecker Aquatic Complex in Joplin | 7:30 to 9:00pm
Summer is almost over, but the watermelons are so sweet! Celebrate with us at Schifferdecker Aquatic Complex at the last Friday swim of the season. (The pool opens at 1pm and closes at 8pm. Kids are $4 and adults $5.)
At 8pm, Immanuel Lutheran Church will be serving ice-cold watermelons in the parking lot. Come, share a free slice with us! Say hello to some of the folks who serve our community with Comfort Dogs, youth and children’s ministry, Martin Luther School (2yrs-8th grade), and more. Louie Comfort Dog will be there to greet you as well.
