“Growing To Serve” Together
Saturday, September 15 | 10:00am to 2:00pm
A major point of emphasis in Immanuel’s youth ministry this year will be living out Immanuel’s mission, “Growing to Serve.” To help accomplish this, your youth will be hosting various “Serving Saturday” opportunities. Serving Saturday is for youth and their families. It is also open for members of Immanuel, to Martin Luther School families and anyone else who wants to make a difference through volunteering and serving.
Projects from month-to-month will vary, and could range from simple yard work or trash clean-up, to preparing and serving an appreciation meal or volunteering at a homeless shelter. Participants will not only receive a free tee shirt, but will be fed lunch too. Come dressed comfortably and ready to work.
The youth board is accepting project ideas, and would love to hear from you. Information on upcoming projects will be shared in the church bulletin and on social media as each “Serving Saturday” draws near.
We hope you’ll be a part of Serving Saturday this month! We will gather on Saturday, September 15 at 10:00 am in the Martin Luther School gym.
