Lutheran Confessions Study

2nd Thursdays | 5:30 PM | Fellowship Hall

A copy of Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions resting on a wooden table, its black and gold cover embossed with the Luther rose. — Our text, published by Concordia Publishing House. Copies are available — you do not need to bring one.

This is the second-Thursday meeting of the Lutheran Confessions Study. The class meets twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, at 5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall at Immanuel Lutheran Church, led by Elder Christopher Killebrew. We read Concordia: The Lutheran Confessions together and learn to give a clear, gracious answer for what we believe and why.

You do not need to be a member of Immanuel, or of any church. You do not need the book. Bring a Bible and your questions.

Full details, including what the Confessions are and what to expect your first night, are on the main Lutheran Confessions Study page.

Where: Fellowship Hall, Immanuel Lutheran Church — 2616 S Connecticut Ave, Joplin, MO 64804
Questions? Contact Christopher at (620) 305-6735, or the church office at (417) 624-0333

Both meetings each month are listed on our master calendar, and the class also appears among our Events.
