This is the master calendar for Immanuel Lutheran Church and Martin Luther School — both calendars together, in one place. You are welcome at the gatherings on our Events page — worship most of all. Those are our open gatherings, described in full there, and you do not need to be a member or tell anyone you are coming.
This master calendar is wider than that. Alongside our open gatherings it carries the working schedule of both buildings: board and committee meetings, room reservations, staff meetings, funerals and school days. We publish all of it so the congregation can see how the buildings are being used and so two groups are never promised the same room. If something here catches your eye and you are not sure whether to come, call the church office at (417) 624-0333 and ask. Asking is never an imposition.

Request an Event or Reserve a Room
Boards, committees and ministry teams: if you are planning something that needs a date on the master calendar or a room reserved, fill out the form below. It goes straight to the church office, and you will get an email copy of what you sent.
Requests are reviewed by our ministry leadership team, so that rooms do not get double-booked and the building is heated or cooled in time for your gathering. That team is Pastor Chris Ramstad, Principal Mollie Ramstad and DCE Jason Glaskey, who meet every Wednesday morning.
Please give at least two weeks’ notice when you can, and no less than a few days for anything needing a room. Evening and weekend events in the Sanctuary or Fellowship Hall need advance notice so the building is comfortable when your guests arrive.

Which of these am I welcome at?
Everything on our Events page, and worship above all. Come as you are. You do not need to be a member, register, or let anyone know ahead of time.
The rest of what you see here is the working schedule of the buildings — board and committee meetings, room reservations by particular groups, staff meetings, funerals and school days. Those are the ordinary work of running a church and a school, and they are on the calendar so the rooms and the heat get sorted out in time. When you are not sure which kind of thing you are looking at, call the church office at (417) 624-0333. We would rather you asked than wondered.
Do I need an account to see this?
No. Anyone can view this page, members and visitors and neighbors alike. If you would like to know more about us before you visit, start with About Us or Where We Meet.
What is the difference between the master calendar and the Events page?
The master calendar shows everything on both calendars, including board meetings and room reservations, and it is where you request an event or reserve a room. Our Events page highlights the gatherings that are open to everyone, with fuller descriptions of each one. If you are looking for something to come to, start there.
Which calendar will my event go on?
Congregational events go on the church calendar. School events, including Martin Luther School programs and no-school days, go on the school calendar. Both feed the master calendar, and some things sit on both. The office sorts this out when your request is approved, so you do not need to decide.
What if I need more than one room?
Check every space you need. A meal in the Fellowship Hall that also uses the Kitchen takes both, and a program that starts in the Sanctuary and moves to the Gym takes both. Checking them all up front is what keeps two groups from being promised the same room.
What if the room I want is already taken?
Send the request anyway and say what you need. When the Fellowship Hall is booked, groups can often meet in the Youth Center, the school conference room, or a middle school classroom instead. The office will work it out with you.
My event has no set time. What do I put?
Leave the start and end time blank. Reminders and announcements, all-day events and no-school days do not need a clock time. Anything holding a room does, so the office knows when the space is free again.
Something looks wrong or is missing.
