Wednesdays in Advent — Supper, Worship and Christmas Programs
- Free family supper at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall each Wednesday, December 2, 9 and 16
- Worship or Christmas program at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary (in person and streamed LIVE)
- Everyone is welcome. Do you need to be a member? No.
- Use our Daily Advent Devotions!
Advent is the four weeks before Christmas when the church prepares to celebrate Jesus’ birth. This year Advent begins Sunday, November 29. On the Wednesday evenings that follow, we gather for a meal and then for worship or a Christmas program by the children of Martin Luther School, our preschool through 8th grade school.
Each Wednesday from December 2 through December 16, a free family supper is served at 5:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall, followed at 6:30 pm by worship or a Christmas program in the sanctuary. Come as you are — straight from work or school. Relax, pray, eat, laugh and share with friends and family. Come, feed your body and soul at Immanuel Lutheran Church during Advent. Prepare your heart for the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus!
What to Expect
This year’s midweek theme will be announced soon. Join us at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Wednesday evenings as Pastor Chris Ramstad, along with our school children, helps to explore the coming of the Christ child and the season of Advent. May the promise of Christ’s coming fill you with hope, joy, and peace all month long and throughout your Christmas celebration!
O come, O come, Immanuel,
and ransom captive Israel
that mourns in lonely exile here
until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice! Immanuel
shall come to you, O Israel.
