Mrs. Schamber’s Class

December 14—December 18

This week during Jesus Time we will learn about how the angels told the shepherds of Jesus’ birth.  The Bible says, “Glory to God in the highest.”  Luke 2:14

Our theme for this week is: Christmas

Monday– Pinecone Christmas Trees

Tuesday– A Special Present
Wednesday–
This is the Stable

Thursday– Candy Canes

Friday– Christmas Party! 10-11 a.m.  (School will dismiss at the regular time)

This week we will be working on improving our fine motor, listening, and creative thinking skills as we complete our learning projects.  We will also be enjoying a variety of centers during Center Time.

Please don’t forget to sign your child in each morning.  If you use the gym entrance make sure you find the sign in sheet on the table located in the early childhood entry way.  Also, if you have not returned your improvement survey please do so ASAP.  So far I have only received one survey back.

Over Christmas break you might want to continue to practice many of the skills we have been working on.  Counting Christmas ornaments, talking about the colors of the lights, and discussing what day it is are all simple ways to reinforce some of these skills at home.  We will be spending more time on the alphabet after Christmas break.  We will also have two new students starting in January so we will need enough snacks for 12 students now.

You may bring your wrapped and labeled Christmas presents for the student your child selected at any time.  We will be unwrapping these gifts at our Christmas party on Friday, December 18th so please have them here before this time.  Also, if you signed up to bring candy, treat bags, or trinkets please bring these by Tuesday so they can be assembled.

Have a wonderful, blessed Christmas and New Years!!!  See you January 4th!

This is the last week for our December chapel project: food drive.
