We have been using our language skills as we learn new songs during Circle Time. Children love songs because of their repetitive nature. Songs are a great way to learn new material. This week we will once again be enjoying a variety of centers during Center Time. We are working on learning our colors and shapes through a variety of fun activities. We have started practicing our matching skills with a variety of activities as well. One great way to practice this skill at home is to play a game of “Memory”. Even if your child can’t play the game correctly yet, they can still work on making matches out of the game cards.
Along with our new season, Fall, comes cooler temperatures. Please make sure your child brings a jacket with them each day. It is often cool in the mornings when we go out to play even though it warms up in the afternoon.
