This week during Jesus Time we will be learning about God giving Mary the Good News message about Jesus’ birth. The Bible says, “Sing for joy to God.” Psalm 81:1 |
|
Our theme for the next three weeks is: Christmas (Can you tell I LOVE Christmas?) Monday– Angels Tuesday– Joy to the World! Jesus is born! Thursday– Christmas Stars Friday– Salt Dough Ornaments |
|
This week we will be working on improving our fine motor skills as we manipulate art materials. We will also be focusing on learning more about the TRUE meaning of Christmas! We will be talking about colors, shapes, and textures as we create our learning projects. We will also be enjoying a variety of centers during Center Time. We will have a new item in our sensory tub: miniature pom pons! The children will be using their fine motor and problem solving skills to pick up these fun objects. Take time at the end of each day to talk with your child about what they have learned in school that day. This is a great way to show your child that you value them and their education. We will be practicing for our Christmas program every day this week as well.
During our Christmas party on Friday, December 18th the students will have a gift exchange. We will be drawing names soon so you know who you are buying for. We have put a limit of $5.00 on the gifts for the gift exchange.
Don’t forget Book Orders are due December 1st.

Our chapel project for November is a food drive. We are collecting: stuffing, cranberry sauce, peanut butter, canned vegetables, hamburger helper, cornbread mix, sugar, and flour to make food baskets to share with the less fortunate during the holiday season. Any contributions you make will be greatly appreciated. |
